Higher Barn Farm is a family-run yard with excellent facilities, offering professionalism and friendliness in equal measure.

Located near Tarporley, Cheshire, in a secluded location overlooking the Cheshire plains, the yard benefits from outstanding and varied hacking routes, including plenty of hill work and three-mile grass canter track - perfect for fitness training. What's more Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre is just a ten-minute ride away and the yard offers direct access to Delamere Forest with no need for road work.  

The yard and grounds are maintained to a very high standard and are always kept clean, tidy and organised. Our fields are south-facing and gently sloping allowing extensive all-year turnout (24/7 turnout when weather permits, if required). We offer pair or individual turnout but also have several smaller paddocks for isolation/controlled turnout.

Furthermore, we have extensive winter grazing for polo ponies, in large sheltered fields and with additional hay as required.

We ensure the horses receive the best care treating them as one of our own, and we pride ourselves on getting to know each horse as an individual.
